How much time has one pace saved? ›

One Pace saves you well over 100 hrs of watch time if you're binging it from the start. It's really good quality with a big team of volunteers.

For example, the One Pace version of the Enies Lobby arc cuts out 439 minutes, or just over 7 hours, of "unnecessary" material from the anime's actual edition. This is less impactful in other arcs, such as Amazon Lily, only cutting out 196 minutes, or just over 3 hours, of screen time.

A full episode runs for around 22-24 minutes. Considering the upcoming episode, watching 1090 episodes of One Piece would take around 23,980 to 26,160 minutes or 399.6 to 463 hours. That is estimated to be 16.65 to 19.29 days.

One Pace is decent. It's somewhat necessary imo for the post time-skip arcs as they are slower than all hell. I think up through Marineford you'll be fine with the OG series. After the timeskip I'd switch to One Pace.

The anime doesnt skip anything from the manga, if anything it expands on things and adds more context for events. After a few hundred episodes you will notice the pacing start to get worse, and after a few hundred more you will notice the pacing has gotten even worse. Not much 'filler' but lots of stretching.

And was the length needed? The root cause of Dressrosa's length is the ridiculous amount of new characters introduced. Unlike some people, I was able to keep track of them, due mostly in part to Oda doing a great job of making most of them unique.
