“I have been going to this place for 2 years now. The food has NEVER been anything but amazing! I am in love with the tikka masala(spicy side of mild or white boy side of medium). “My new favorite brunch spot right now.❤️Saagshuka ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- super flavorful: slight spice, garlicky, creamy- better than normal shaksuka- loved the crunchy roasted garlic- got it with bacon- the bread was insanely goodPakora waffle with chicken ⭐⭐⭐⭐- love the chicken, it's so juicy and crispy it was a tiny bit sweet, wasn't spicy- the vegetables are really crisp and almost sour in a good way? It's almost like coleslaw but not overly mayonnaisey- loved the chickpeas- the waffle was a little dry but it had so much sauce that it didn't matterShrimp and grits ⭐⭐⭐✨- just ok for me- the shrimp was really juicy- most of the contrasting flavor came from the pickled onionsButtah chicken hash ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨- the gravy was good- the potatoes were really good- the balance was great- lots of food“

“I wanted to come here after seeing it on Somebody Feed Phil.I got a Veggie Thali Platter which was delicious. I get Indian food a lot and this was very unique compared to other Indian food I've had.I wish this food cart pod had more heaters for cold days, but overall, I loved it and would highly recommend it!“

“Holy cow, amazing, tandoori, tuna salad, sandwich at this little food cart by the upright brewing. New location at a renovated gas station on Northeast Prescott. !! The atmosphere rating is for the inside dining option (or picnic tables) at the upright brewing and Juniors coffee at the ‘station’Also, they have a happy hour special every day from 3 to 5 with deals on sandwiches and beers !“

“The environment is modern indian and quite dark.The chicken tikka masala has very smokey flavor, the Korma was not.Nan breads were a little crispy and the rice was good.I asked for a medium spice on both dishes, and both came out fairly mild. heat level of course is fairly subjective, but I did expect a bit more based on general experience.I would go here again but the smokey flavor was too much and in my opinion overpowered and ruined the masala dish, so I probably wouldn't order that again. Even though I normally love that dish at other restaurants.“

“We have been here twice now and we have figured out what is good and what isn't. The ambiance is super fun! It has an elevated dhaba feel to it. The walls are covered with random photos of people and families from the 1970s, signs that one might see in public places in India, a rickshaw meter at the entrance and carrom board tables. The whole place is run by non-Indians so you get a feeling that this is their interpretation of an Indian dhaba.We've ordered the chicken curry thali, the paneer curry, batata vada, pav bhaji, paneer Kati rolls, chicken salad bowl, crispy cauliflower, and the ginger lime soda over the course of our visits.The Thali comes with a dal, roti, rice, raita, salad and a sambar type curry. I have enjoyed the chicken curry way more than the paneer curry. The paneer curry is sweeter and more bland than I'd like. The chicken curry has a bigger flavor profile with a slight spicy kick. The crispy cauliflower was very good but I think this is a special so it may not always be available.The batata vada pav is actually very good but I really would like them to give us the chutney separately so that we decide how much chutney to add. As of now, the vada is smothered with chutneys, which hides the flavors of the vada. Also note that the buns are not like the Indian pav. They are burger buns.The pav bhaji has a tomato soup powder flavor to it, so it looks exactly like a pav bhaji should, but is overwhelmingly tomato flavored. The buns don't give you the same satisfaction that the buttered Indian pav gives.The Kati rolls are filled with more veggies, particularly the purple cabbage, than paneer or chicken. That is not how Kati rolls should be. Purple cabbage is not a thing in Indian food, so this felt like a salad rolls with the wrong veggies.The chicken bowl is actually decent so we liked this. The ginger lime soda is quite nice too.Overall, I would recommend this place for the decor, the vada, the Thali and their specials.“

“Shocked to see so many negative reviews, honestly. My SO got lamb vindaloo and a mango lassi from this cart and thought it was an absolute banger of a meal. It looked great to me—really thick, rich sauce and lots of nice, juicy looking chunks of lamb with a healthy portion of fluffy rice. Great price and portion because he had some to take home for later, as he could not finish the whole thing! I watched him get his order taken and the guy at the counter seemed lovely.“

“Tried this place because of the great reviews, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, we had butter chicken, tikka masala and garlic naan and everything was bursting with authentic flavors. The guy was welcoming and provided excellent service. Highly recommend! :)“

“One of the best places to eat this style of food, they really use fresh and quality products, personally I always like the Chicken Biryani and its preparation is perfect, the rice is not stuck like other establishments in the area offer it with or without spicy , likewise the Garlic Naan are perfect and delicious. “Tikkalicious is my favorite restaurant in Portland BY FAR. I usually get the lamb makhani and chicken biryani, and I’m blown away every time like it’s my first time having it again. The lamb makhani is delicious, flavorful and tender, and the chicken in the chicken biryani has incredible flavor and falls off the bone. The garlic naan is perfect every time. The food is spicy, but worth it and so delicious. I order from here regularly, I highly recommend Tikkalicious! (Order take out, not DoorDash!)“

“My husband and I LOVE this restaurant. Since moving to the Bethany area 2 years ago, we have eaten here, on average, about once a week. It was that good (and cost efficient)!!That said, in recent months, the prices have increased exponentially, and the hours are inconsistent. It used to not be a big deal that you had to actually order and pay for rice separately, but with the prices of everything going up, it kindof feels like a ripoff :(. We went from paying around $35 per order to nearly $50 for the exact same meal.That said, the chicken is melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We really loved this place.“
